Balls, Two That

No posts from us for a while. We needed a wee hiatus, an extended bathroom break, if you will.

This next effort, ahem, is titled "Balls, Two That" because, well there are two footballs in the shot. The dark blob to the left would be my finger. It's a while a go when this occurred, so my best guess is the "click click click" of the pocket picture taking started whilst I'm playing football with the boys.

Oh, and it's the same football, so I dunno how this happened, but that's kind of magical in a way. It's one of those things you wish you could repeat but you haven't got the foggiest how you did it. Yeah, that.

Anyway, "Balls, Two That" because I miss playing football in the garden with my boys now they're all grown up.

The Serious Bit
Okay, so we lurve football, though not so much when our team are losing! And football has the power to change lives and spread goodness in the world like other sport can. Imagine then the power of football combined with the power of education. In this world of doom and gloom, there needs to better access to education for children across the world, and obstacles to good quality education must be removed. Being regurgitated some centuries old imaginary story book tales isn't an education - science, maths, language and writing skills are what kids need to escape the shackles holding them back. Add to that the life-lessons that football can bring, like resilience and teamwork, well you're on to a winner.
There are many worthy charities out there using football as a way to engage children. We sifted through a few and decided to point you in the direction of The Hurcan Foundation and the EFL Trust, both very worthy causes, but as we mentioned there are many organisations out there utilising football as a force for good.
